PROVISIONAL CAST-ON FOR TOE-UP SOCKS, PRISCILLA GIBSON-ROBERTS METHOD

A non-bloggy knitting friend and I gathered on Saturday to find a new project for her (which unexpectedly became Wisp, which seemed simple to work and allowed her to actually start knitting instead of watching me puzzle through PGR's toe-up cast-on). I did the pictured technique learning and work on the Clap. (What's with all the Knitty patterns recently?)

We decided that knitting friends are soooo important.
