progress continues on clapotis. progress paused on green SKS socks--I think they're gonna be too big and shit, casting on 90 sts for a sock? ridiculous. my swatch (YEAH I do!) indicated such a fine gauge, but now I'm thinking more along the lines of "screw it, I'll use bigger needles and get an airy-er result. and also finish this year." I plan to frog. progress totally stalled on toe-ups. alas. and I've invested in figuring out how to do it. glad to hear that I'm not the only one to favor the top-down approach. but I shall conquer. it just may take a while.
